Review guidelines
Reviews help other people pick a sauna. Keep them honest, specific and about your own visit.
Before you write
- Review a sauna you've actually visited, and say roughly when.
- One review per sauna. You can edit yours later.
- Write about the experience: the heat, the cold plunge, cleanliness, staff, value and how busy it was.
- Don't review a business you own, work for or compete with, or one that paid or rewarded you for the review.
What we remove
- Reviews that are fake, paid for, or written by someone connected to the business
- Abuse, threats, hate speech or discrimination
- Personal information, such as staff surnames, phone numbers or photos of other people
- Content that isn't about a visit, such as ads, spam or links
We don't remove reviews because they're negative. Owners can't pay to remove, hide or change reviews, and they can't offer you anything to change yours.
Checks before publishing
Most reviews go live straight away. Some are held for a quick check first, for example a review from a brand new account or several reviews of one sauna in a short time.
Reporting a review
If you think a review breaks these guidelines, use the Report link next to it. We'll look at it and tell you what we decided.
For owners
Once you've claimed your listing, you can reply publicly to any review. Keep replies polite and don't share the reviewer's personal details.
